Zeekr — EV Brand Experience
A brand experience engineered to feel as fast as the car
The brief
Where we started
Zeekr, a premium EV brand, needed a digital experience matching the innovation of its vehicles — one that communicated cutting-edge technology and design leadership in a single, cinematic scroll.
Make the website feel as engineered and premium as the vehicles themselves
Give each model its own cinematic showcase without duplicating design effort per page
Translate technical EV specs into an experience that feels exciting, not like a spec sheet
The challenge
What we were up against
Zeekr is a premium EV brand that needed a digital experience as innovative as their vehicles. The website had to communicate cutting-edge technology, design leadership, and the thrill of electric driving — all in one immersive scroll, competing directly against automotive brand sites with far larger production budgets.
EV shoppers in this segment are also evaluating brand perception alongside specs — the site needed to make Zeekr feel like an established design-forward marque, not a newcomer, from the very first frame of video.
3
vehicle model pages (001, 007, X), each with a fully bespoke cinematic showcase
What was at stake
In the premium EV category, a website that feels anything less than 'flagship' directly damages perceived vehicle quality before a shopper ever sees the car in person.
Our approach
How we tackled it
We studied flagship automotive brand sites to identify the pacing and interaction patterns that read as premium rather than templated.
Step 1
Automotive Site Benchmarking
We studied flagship automotive brand sites (EV and traditional luxury) to identify the pacing and interaction patterns that read as premium rather than templated.
Step 2
Full-Screen Video-First Design
Looping car cinematics and scroll-triggered technical reveals replace static hero imagery throughout, so the site itself feels kinetic.
Step 3
Interactive Model Exploration
Each model page includes an interactive exploration mode letting users examine exterior, interior, and tech features without leaving the page.
Step 4
Spatial Development Build
Built with careful attention to loading sequencing and scroll pacing so the 'inside the car' spatial feeling holds up on real-world connections, not just fast studio wifi.
The solution
The work, up close
The multi-page brand site covers three vehicle model pages (001, 007, X), an about section, and contact — each car page featuring fullscreen video, technical feature breakdowns with scroll-triggered reveals, and a 'configure/choose' interaction.
The loading animation and scroll pacing were tuned deliberately to create a premium, app-like feel rather than a typical marketing-site scroll — every transition between sections was treated as part of the brand experience, not just a mechanism to get to the next block of text.
Fullscreen Cinematic Model Pages
Each vehicle gets a video-first showcase with scroll-triggered technical reveals instead of a static spec sheet.
Interactive Model Exploration
Users can explore exterior, interior, and tech features interactively on the page itself, reducing reliance on a dealership visit for basic exploration.
App-Like Loading & Pacing
Custom loading sequencing and scroll-pacing tuning give the site a premium, app-like feel distinct from typical automotive marketing templates.
